Willow decided she wanted to do dance again, if only for the stage, costumes, and makeup. :) So, Jayden and I get a little one-on-one time in the afternoon once a week and Willow gets to dance around. :)

Fall Soccer and Football
Willow and Jayden started soccer and football this past weekend. I signed Willow up for soccer because last flag football season she got a little bored sitting on the sidelines watching all the time, and last season her age group played soccer at the same time that Jayden played football, so I thought this would give her something to do every Saturday while Jayden played. My plan backfired. Willow plays at 10 on Saturdays, Jayden plays at 11. Oh well, guess we'll just take turns cheering each other on. :)
Check out Willow's socks. I'm guessing she looked around her and noticed everybody else had socks pulled up to their knees like her and she had to make sure she was a little different. :) When she came over for a water break, I asked her what was going on with her socks and she said, "Oh, I guess I just like them this way!"
Royal is Jayden's flag football coach again this year. Jayden loves it and truthfully I have gotten so many compliments on how Royal coaches the kids. He really does a good job.
Jayden loves football right now and really wants to play tackle. I'm like, "Don't you want to be the kicker? There's big penalties when they get hit." Jayden's all, "Oh mom! I'm tough. I've had my brains rattled before, you just feel dizzy. No big deal." Oi. Vey....
Jayden had a great first game. He intercepted a ball and ran it all the way in for a touch down. He was so excited! Pretty much if you are related and answered your phone on Saturday he called you to tell you all about it. :)

Muffins with Mommy
This last week I got to go to Willows kindergarten class for Muffins with Mommy! Willow made me a special book that said I was 10 years old (I'm doing so much better than being 80 years old during pre-k!) and it said I weighed 70lbs! (I totally do!). We read books together and ate muffins.
Then we moved onto the luxury station where Willow made me some bath salts and gave me a hand and arm massage from 3 very different, all very smelly, lotions. The massage was lovely, the flowery smell that emanated off of me afterwards, well that was a little headache inducing. :)
Willow also gave herself a "face massage" with all 3 lotions as well. :)
Then we moved onto the math station where we sorted, and counted, and added M&M's. Somehow our numbers were off...a little person kept eating our M&Ms before we were done counting them....

Visiting the Myron's
Getting used to driving a little car, after driving my tank around everyday, takes me a bit. I tend to over correct, stomp on the gas, slam on the brakes, I drive 10 under the speed limit on accident because it feels like I'm going so fast. When we were leaving town Willow said, "Mom, I really like this little silver car, but my head keeps hitting the window!" Oopsie, my bad. :)
We had so much fun with our friends. There were dance parties, swimming, roller skating, trampoline parks, game tournaments. We were exhausted by the time we had to drive back home. But it was so fun and we can't wait to visit them again.
Stopping for lunch on the drive down.
DANCE PARTY!!!
Swimming...
Roller Skating! Totally fun. This was Willow's first time on wheels and Jayden rollerbladed and he did great, but both kids were exhausted from staying up till 10:30 the night before and waking up at 6:30 that morning, and swimming in the hot, humid Texas air, and let's just say there were bruises, tantrums, and tears all around. :)
After a good nights sleep, we decided to wear the kids out some more by taking them to an indoor trampoline park. It was awesome, but glad we could only jump an hour!
Board Game Tourny! Tracy made up brackets for Jenga, Candy Land, Memory, and Connect4. I got knocked out pretty early and Willow of course took the crown for Candy Land. The girl never loses at that game!
Wore this girl plumb out!
